I'm bored of cheap and cheerful

What does one do when one cannot afford the new and beautiful Daysail by Bonnie and Camille?  Why, go to Joann's during a big sale and make your own version for a quarter of the price and half the quality!

I'm going to be joining in on the Snapshots quilt along from the fat quarter shop. I think I did a decent job matching daysail, so my blocks will be similar but not exactly the same.

Short and sweet on this post. I'm typing from a tablet that misses every other letter.

i've attempted the blogger thing several times. i'm going to estimate this to be the 7th time i've written a first post in a new blog. i'm not particularly gifted in the writing area, though i consider myself to have a slight talent in the spelling and even slighter in the grammar department (maybe not sentence structure, but this is a quilting blog. what do you want from me?) so maybe this won't be so painful. unless you happen to be picky about capital letters. i don't have time for that. i mean, the shift key, really? no.

literally, i started this just because i'm going to be doing some quilt alongs and there are fancy buttons i want to stick around and a place other than instagram (instagram.com/suzytheexploder) to post my pictures.

this is it for now. i'm wasting company time. buttons, customization, real words and pictures to come. hopefully.

also keeping with my blogs that came before this, all post titles are lyrics from whatever song is in my head.
